Yo, its ed, XLWales Holiday Club Manager!! Ive decided to run a blog that lets Kids who attend Holiday Club follow various announcements for this years Summer Holiday Club as and when they happen :-). During the summer I will also use this blog to track the summers activities so build something awesome enough, and a picture of it could be imortalised here forever!!!

XLWales Holiday Club open for the summer holidays

We received so many letters of support when we closed the Holiday club at Easter, that the board of trustees has decided to run it again over the 5 weeks of the summer holidays. It will be staffed by the regular staff - ie Ed, Chloe, Jo, Will, James, Andrew, Emily, Sam etc - and there will be new challenges and lots of fun activities that you would expect from the experienced XLWales holiday club team.

XLWales @ St Davids RC Summer Fete

Yesterday, XLWales attended the St Davids RC Primary School Summer Fete. We challanged the children to build a huge tower made out of K'nex. They managed to construct a tower that was a wopping 18.5 feet tall!!!

Neath Holiday Club Closes

The funding we received from Clybiau Plant Cymru to set up the Holiday Club in Melin Junior school ended on the 31st May 2008. Unfortunately due to low numbers after a price increase to help sustain the club, it is with regret that we are now closing the Holiday Club in Melin
