Support For Schools
Hundreds of Primary schools across South and West Wales benefit each year from: In 2005/6 academic year 417 schools and 33,345 children benefited from a visit from the Roadshow
During the visit, pupils will enjoy Invention and Discovery challenges designed to meet the needs of the UK National Curriculum in: Science, Design & Technology, Maths and ICT. The challenges can be delivered in either Welsh or English.
Challenges are available for Early Years (age 3 to 5); Key Stage 1 (age 5 to 7); and Key Stage 2 (age 7 to 11).
The challenges also help pupils to develop essential Life skills, such as Innovation skills, Problem-solving skills, Team-working skills, Communication skills, Entrepreneurship skills and a ‘Can-do’ approach.
